Q. Will any of our business data be lost if we migrate to Microsoft 365?
A. No! Our tried and tested planning and migration processes are designed to ensure nothing is lost during the transition. If there is a possibility that some of your data cannot be migrated for technical reasons, then we will work with you to plan a suitable alternative. Our aim is to build your trust in us, so you are able to get on with running your business, instead of worrying about your migration going wrong.
Q. How will I know my Microsoft 365 tenant has been set up securely?
A. As a long-standing Microsoft Partner, we’ve put a great deal of energy and care into developing our security-focused migration process. Everything we do is focused on meeting Microsoft’s best practice and the security best practice advised by the National Cyber Security Centre. We set up Microsoft 365 with Cyber Essentials in mind, because we understand many small businesses are now very keen to get certified. We can help you achieve Cyber Essentials certification straightaway, but if you aren’t interested in getting certified just now at least you’ll know you’re in good shape for when you do want to go ahead.
Q. What happens when Cosurica has finished our Microsoft 365 migration?
A. Once we have completed the migration for you and you’ve signed off to say you are satisfied, you’re then in the best possible shape to make use of all the brilliant functionality, protected by the industry-leading security in Microsoft 365. It’s not widely understood by the public that cloud service providers’ own backups of servers in their datacentres are intended for their own disaster recovery purposes. So we’ll provide on-going secure online backup services. This will ensure your business data remains safe from risks such as accidental deletion or overwriting by your end-users, or cybercrime.
Q. Who provides on-going support once migration to Microsoft 365 is completed by Cosurica?
A. As part of our migration planning process we will ask you if you want to manage your own licensing and subscriptions, and deal with Microsoft directly yourself. We understand that most small businesses really don’t have time for this, so most of our customers prefer us to manage their Microsoft 365 subscriptions and licensing on their behalf. When you choose this option, you receive on-going support from Cosurica’s professional, highly skilled, friendly and very approachable service desk team too. Q. We’ve migrated to Microsoft 365 already and currently pay Microsoft directly for the subscription, licences and support, but we find this difficult to manage ourselves. Can Cosurica take care of us instead?
A. Yes, absolutely. The first step is for us to conduct a health-check of your Microsoft 365 tenant, using our security-focused and tried and tested processes. We’ll advise if any changes are required to meet Microsoft’s best practice (and NCSC’s best practice) and agree a support plan that suits you. If you’re happy to go ahead, we’ll make the necessary changes in your tenant, transfer your monthly or annual subscriptions to our billing system and then on-board you for on-going support, so you will be very well-looked after going forwards!
Q. We currently pay an MSP for our subscription, licences and support, but we aren’t happy with their support service. Is it easy to switch to another provider?
A. Yes, absolutely. But first we’d suggest you talk to your current provider and ask them to improve their service! If that’s not successful, then do get in touch with us. We’d love to look after you! Our on-boarding process is very straightforward, and the first step is for us to meet to discuss your support needs and any existing pain points. We’ll agree a plan with you, provide a quote and draft a new contract. When you’re happy to proceed, you let your current provider know you’re switching to Cosurica and we take it from there. We promise you will be very well-looked after going forwards!
